TATSUJIN is the company that owns the intellectual property rights to the Toa Plan, which existed from 1984 to 1994, and is now a member of the Embracer Group, one of the largest companies in the world.
Exhibited Titles
TATSUJIN will exhibit three titles.
Amusement Arcade TOAPLAN
The first is "Amusement Arcade TOAPLAN", which will be released in the fall of 2023 on Android or iOS. It is a smartphone app that allows users to purchase their favorite games from Toa Plan's 25 titles and create their own game center.
"Snow Bros. Wonderland."
The other is "Snow Brothers Wonderland," which is scheduled for release in 2024 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch. This is a new version of "Snow Brothers," a worldwide hit released by Toa Plan in 1990, with a 3D game field.
"TATSUJIN EXTREME".
The last one is "TATSUJIN EXTREME," a reference exhibit scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 in 2024. TATSUJIN EXTREME" is currently under development as a completely new version of "TATSUJIN", a vertical scrolling shooting game developed by Toa Plan in 1988.
Stage events will also be held.
In addition to the test-playing booth, there was also an event on stage, where Toaplan fans and retro game fans could not miss the developer's talk event and autograph session.
