Aiming to become a hub for the next-generation game industry, the city will promote its strengths, such as top-class subsidies and easy access to Tokyo, to attract companies interested in expanding into a regional area.
Niigata City to Exhibit at "Tokyo Game Show 2025"! Novelty Items Such as Original Niigata City Stickers and Pamphlets Introducing Its Appeal Will Also Be Distributed
Niigata City announced that it will have a booth at "Tokyo Game Show 2025," which will be held at Makuhari Messe from Thursday, September 25, to Sunday, September 28, 2025.
To become a hub for the game industry, Niigata City aims to attract companies interested in expanding into a regional area by promoting its strengths, such as top-class subsidies for game companies, easy access to Tokyo, and collaboration with the Niigata College of Computer.
The booth will highlight Niigata's appeal, including:
- Top-class corporate relocation subsidy programs for game companies
- Real stories about expanding into Niigata from OGIX, a company that has already expanded
- Game-related initiatives such as Niigata 2km
- An exhibit of a game created jointly by OGIX and local government and universities in the prefecture
- A rich pool of young talent produced by the Niigata College of Computer
The booth will be full of Niigata's appeal, so be sure to pay it a visit!
Original Niigata City Stickers and Pamphlets Full of Its Appeal Will Also Be Distributed
