Many device manufacturers exhibited at Taipei Game Show 2025 (Taipei Game Show 2025/"TGS2025"), which took place in Taipei from January 23 to 26, 2025. There were also booths of SD card industry associations, and storage is a necessity not only for games but for all digital devices. Western Digital, one of the world's top-class storage manufacturers, also exhibited at TGS2025, and here is a report on their booth!
When it comes to gaming SSDs, "WD_BLACK" is the name of the game!

WD_BLACK" is the most popular SSD for gaming, with its fast game loading speeds and quiet operation.

WD_BLACK" is not only for PCs, but also for Xbox, PlayStation, and other consumer devices. Of course, it is officially licensed.
Both internal and external SSDs

Two sizes of internal SSDs are on display, and two sizes of external SSDs are also available according to capacity. WD_BLACK" has a stylish design even for internal SSDs.
Not only SSDs, but also microSD cards

SanDisck, the brand name of the company, has an overwhelming share of the SD card/microSD card market, and naturally, there are also high-capacity cards that are necessary for game play. Demand for microSD cards has increased dramatically in the gaming industry with the rise of portable gaming PCs as well as the Nintendo Switch. With PC games, there is a lot of capacity, so I'd be worried if I didn't have at least 1TB.
Not only SSDs, but also SD cards/microSD cards have a large market share and cover all kinds of game consoles. Western Digital is a company to be feared...
Street Fighter 6 was also on display!

Playing games with "WD_BLACK" is very comfortable! So we had a chance to try out "Street Fighter 6". Although this has nothing to do with Western Digital, it was impressive to see so many people playing with the keyboard. It's the original leverless controller, so it would be exciting to see players using keyboards at tournaments.
Fun photo booth!

There was also a photo booth at the booth where visitors could take commemorative photos!

We had fun taking pictures like this.
That's all for now! This is my report on the Western Digital booth at TGS2025!
