Riot Games LLC has announced the tournament format for the international tactical FPS competition, "VCT Ascension Pacific Tokyo 2024," for "VALORANT."

PR TIMESAscension Pacific Tokyo will be held over seven match days between Friday, September 13, 2024, and Monday, September 23, 2024.
The top 10 teams selected from the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region will gather at this tournament to compete for one spot in the VCT Pacific.
The tournament begins with a group stage, where the teams are divided into two groups of five and compete in a bracket using the GSL format, with all matches being a best-of-three (BO3).
PR TIMESThe top six teams from the group stage will advance to the playoffs, with the top team from each group automatically advancing to the semifinals.
The playoffs will be conducted in a single-elimination bracket format.
Matches are generally best-of-three (BO3), but the Grand Final will be a best-of-five (BO5).
