In addition to a major update scheduled for the same day, a special commemorative program is scheduled to be broadcast on Thursday, April 23, 2026.
Emperor of Darkness Wolfgang Krauser Joins the Fight on April 24!
Wolfgang Krauser first appeared as the final boss in Fatal Fury 2, released in 1992.
This marks his first playable appearance in a fighting game in 12 years, since THE KING OF FIGHTERS '98 ULTIMATE MATCH FINAL EDITION was released in 2014.
While maintaining his high-power strikes delivered from his massive 2-meter frame and his highly suppressive battle style that utilizes his long reach, the Emperor of Darkness finally joins the fray in Fatal Fury CotW.

In EOST MODE, an RPG mode where Wolfgang Krauser is the protagonist, a story unfolds as Krauser, who has returned to South Town after a long time, travels through the city to fulfill a certain objective.
Additionally, in ARCADE MODE, he challenges the Legendary Wolf once again in a battle that was never settled, in order to reclaim his way of life as the Emperor.
It is very exciting to see the new Wolfgang Krauser story across two modes.
