Looking further ahead, a new chapter based on Spin-off title The Casting of Frank Stone, which takes place in an alternate timeline, will release in 2027.

The team revealed a massive visual overhaul scheduled to roll out in phases starting in 2027!

Maps are also getting substantial upgrades.
The developers plan to introduce improved lighting and shadow textures, enhanced fog and mist physics, and additional environmental elements to make the presence of The Entity feel more overwhelming.

In a brand-new feature, a dynamic weather system will also arrive!
Aside from introducing effects like light rain, downpours, and thunderstorms, the developers will sequentially add new voice lines for matching characters.

The development team shared advance details for two unique, upcoming game modes: "1v1 Mode" and "Zombie Mode."

• "1v1 Mode": A pure Killer-versus-Survivor showdown that removes all perks and items.
• "Zombie Mode": An environmental mode where zombies spawn across the map, infecting Survivors and eventually turning them into zombies if left untreated.
