Square Enix Co., Ltd. has released the trailer for the major update, Patch 7.4, Into the Mist, for the hugely popular online RPG Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV, hereafter). The update is scheduled for release on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. Furthermore, the original song "Everything Burns," written by Grammy Award-winning guitarist Tom Morello, will be featured in the Raid Dungeon The Arcadion: Heavyweight.
Trailer for "Into the Mist" Released!
The latest update, Into the Mist, will kick off with the Raid Dungeon "The Arcadion: Heavyweight," which features a unique boss character. The battles in the "The Arcadion" series will finally reach their conclusion in this final confrontation. In addition, a variety of new content will be added, including the new main scenario quest "Into the Mist," the Variant Dungeon "Merchant's Tale" (where you adventure through a book), and a new PvP map featuring dynamic weather.

The original song "Everything Burns," written by two-time Grammy Award-winning guitarist Tom Morello (@tmorello), will be featured in the Raid Dungeon "The Arcadion: Heavyweight." The powerful vocals of Caleb Shomo, woven into the heavy sound, will add even more intensity and realism to the final chapter's deadly battle.
