Arc System Works has announced the first-ever TV anime based on the popular fighting game “Guilty Gear” series: GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS!
A teaser visual has also been released.

GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS Confirmed for Production!

The “Guilty Gear” fighting game series has been developed by Arc System Works since 1998.
It’s known for its unique world and iconic characters, which have made cosplay and merchandise extremely popular.
Even those who haven’t played the games might recognize characters like Bridget.

Now, the series is finally getting a TV anime adaptation!
Alongside the announcement of GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS, a teaser visual has been released!

The visual features series staples Sol Badguy and Sin Kiske, with a mysterious girl wearing goggles in the background...

The animation production will be handled by Sanjigen Co., Ltd., a studio known for 3DCG works including the animated MV “What an amazing swing” for Tsunomaki Watame and the TV anime “D4DJ All Mix.”
They’ve also worked on the MV for Sol Badguy’s theme song “Find Your One Way,” so the animation quality is in safe hands!

Additional key staff include:

Director: Shigeru Morikawa (“Argonavis AXIA” movie series)
Script: Norimitsu Kaihō (Guilty Gear series)
Associate Producer: Seiji Mizushima (“Mobile Suit Gundam 00” series, “Fullmetal Alchemist” series)

Appearance at Anime Expo 2024!

From Thursday, July 4 to Sunday, July 7, 2024 (local time), the series will be featured at Anime Expo 2024 in Los Angeles, USA.
A stage event for GUILTY GEAR STRIVE: DUAL RULERS will take place!

The panel will feature Norimitsu Kaihō, Seiji Mizushima, and GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE- producer Ken Miyauchi.
New information about the TV anime is also expected, so fans have a lot to look forward to!

The panel session will also be streamed on the Arc System Works America official Twitch channel.
Due to the time difference, it will be a challenging slot for Japan viewers, but try to tune in if you can!
