The fighting action and party game "Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising (hereafter, GBVSR)" from Cygames, Inc. and Arc System Works Co., Ltd. began distributing Update Ver 2.40 on Tuesday, December 2, 2025!
New control schemes "Smart" and "Super Ultimate" were added, along with Battle Pass Round 11 and more.

Update Ver 2.40 was distributed on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.
This update includes the addition of the new control schemes, Smart and Super Ultimate, and the start of Battle Pass Round 11 distribution!
Other changes include relaxing the input buffer for battle controls.

New Control Schemes Smart and Super Ultimate Are Added!
The highlights of this update are "Smart," which allows you to execute combos, including Skybound Arts (special moves), just by mashing buttons, and "Super Ultimate," which makes it possible for even first-time players to move characters stylishly.
With these two new control schemes, even fighting game beginners and those unfamiliar with the controls can enjoy the game more easily.
"Battle Pass Round 11" Distribution Starts! New Costumes and New Lobby Avatars Appear
Battle Pass Round 11, where you can earn character illustrations and stickers, has also begun distribution!
Rewards for the Battle Pass include BGM, badges, and titles, in addition to the new lobby avatar "Wubbly Wilnas."
Furthermore, the paid DLC "Premium Battle Pass Round 11," which allows you to acquire additional luxurious rewards, features Percival's new costume "Knight of Passion" and a weapon skin!
Special Character Colors and Rupies Are Being Distributed to All Players!
Special character colors and Rupies are being distributed to all players to commemorate the second anniversary of GBVSR's release!
"Color SP" is based on the costumes that appear in the original "Granblue Fantasy." Gran's is the color scheme of the job skin "Honing Seeker: Eclipse," and Siegfried and Narmaya's replicate the Limited versions!
You can receive "Color SP" and Rupies from the Present Box within the game.

Gran's "Color SP" can only be selected when using the "Guider to the Eternal Edge" costume.
Gran's costume is included with the "Deluxe Edition" and can also be obtained in the Content Shop within the game.
Additionally, Siegfried and Narmaya's "Color SP" can be used as lobby avatar colors.
