Marvel Games and NetEase Games announced details for Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls," of "Marvel Rivals," the free-to-play hero shooter available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
It launches at 6:00 PM JST on Friday, January 10, 2025!
"Marvel Rivals" Season 1 Launches January 10
Each season of "Marvel Rivals" will last three months.
Each season is divided into a first and second half, and Season 1 "Eternal Night Falls" is packed with new content, including new heroes, new maps, special events, and new game modes.
Four New Heroes Coming!
Invisible Woman and Mister Fantastic are scheduled to be added in the first half, with Human Torch and The Thing following in the second half.
Invisible Woman (Strategist)

3 New Maps Introduced
In the first half of Season 1, the new maps "Midtown" and "Sanctum Sanctorum" of the Empire of Eternal Night are scheduled to be added.
Shockwaves caused by a disturbance in the Timestream threaten to collapse New York City.
With Doctor Strange absent, heroes are relying on science to find a solution.
New Game Mode: "Doom Match"
In the new game mode "Doom Match," 8-12 players will battle on one map.
Each player belongs to a different squad and is hostile to one another.
You earn points by defeating enemies, and victory is achieved by placing in the top 50%.
Enjoy Season 1 with New Events and a Battle Pass!
The new seasonal event "Midnight Features" allows you to earn limited-time rewards such as exclusive galleries, skins, sprays, units, and nameplates.
Furthermore, new Twitch Drop exclusive rewards are planned, so even when you're not playing, enjoy "Marvel Rivals" through streams!
Season 1 "Eternal Night Falls" also unlocks a new Battle Pass with more than double the content of the Season 0 Pass.
