Atlus unveiled the second trailer for Metaphor: ReFantazio, titled The Royal Tournament, at The Game Awards 2023! Accompanied by stunning visuals and grand music, the trailer packs a massive amount of information into its brief runtime. It features actual gameplay footage of the battle system, introduces the mysterious story premise, and announces top-tier creators joining the project—including concept artist Kazuma Koda (NieR:Automata) and Ikuto Yamashita (Neon Genesis Evangelion), who contributed original designs for the Gauntlet Runners.
