My Nintendo Gold Points will end being awarded on March 25!

Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced that the granting of " My Nintendo Gold Points" ("Gold Points") will end at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Gold Points will no longer be awarded on March 25!

Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced that the granting of "Gold Points" will end at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. After this date, Gold Points will no longer be awarded for purchases in principle!

Gold points will be awarded at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo OSAKA, and Nintendo KYOTO until March 24, 2025 (Monday).

3 exceptions to receive Gold Points for a certain period of time after the end date of the grant

1. When a downloadable product is reserved by the end date of the grant

Gold Points will be awarded for reservations made before 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, even if the payment for the reserved downloadable product is made after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Please note that Gold Points will be awarded no later than the day following the settlement date of the reservation.

2. Purchases of packaged software released before the end date of the grant

Gold Points can be received for packaged software released on or before March 24, 2025 (Monday) even if purchased on or after March 25, 2025 (Tuesday). Please note that Gold Points can be received for a period of one year from the release date of the software.

3. If you purchase the console set on the My Nintendo Store before the end of the point distribution period, you will be eligible to receive Gold Points for the following items.

Nintendo Switch (OLED model) White/Customized
Customized Nintendo Switch
Nintendo Switch Lite yellow/turquoise/gray/coral/blue

Gold Points will also be awarded for purchases of the above mentioned console sets at My Nintendo Store in Japan by 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

How to check Gold Points and expiration date

The history and number of Gold Points awarded can be checked on the My Nintendo Points History page. The expiration date is the end of the month 12 months after the date of receipt, and Gold Points can be used until the expiration date even after the end date of the grant.

If you rebook before the end date of the grant, Gold Points will be awarded!

Even if your payment cannot be settled due to insufficient balance or other reasons and is automatically cancelled, you will still be awarded Gold Points if you rebook by 1:29 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Please note that Gold Points will not be awarded for rebookings made after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
