Nintendo Co., Ltd. announced that the awarding of "My Nintendo Gold Points (hereinafter, Gold Points)" will end on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM (JST).
Gold Point Awarding Ends on March 25!
Nintendo SupportNintendo Co., Ltd. announced that the awarding of "Gold Points" will end on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM. Please note that, in principle, Gold Points will no longer be awarded for product purchases after this time!
Gold Points will continue to be awarded at Nintendo TOKYO, Nintendo OSAKA, and Nintendo KYOTO until Monday, March 24, 2025.
Three Exceptions Where Gold Points Will Still Be Awarded for a Certain Period After the End Date
1. If you reserved a downloadable product by the end of the awarding period
Even if the payment for a reserved downloadable product occurs after Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM, Gold Points will still be awarded for reservations made by Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:29 PM. Please note that Gold Points will be awarded by the day after the reservation payment date.
2. If you purchased a physical game released by the end of the awarding period
Even if you purchase a physical game released by Monday, March 24, 2025, after Tuesday, March 25, 2025, you can still receive Gold Points. Please note that the period for receiving Gold Points is one year from the game's release date.
3. If you purchased a console bundle from the My Nintendo Store by the end of the awarding period
- Nintendo Switch (OLED model) White/Customization
- Nintendo Switch Customization
- Nintendo Switch Lite Yellow/Turquoise/Gray/Coral/Blue
Gold Points will also be awarded if you purchased one of the above console bundles from the My Nintendo Store in Japan by Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:29 PM.
How to Check Gold Points and Their Expiration Date
You can check your Gold Point history and balance on the My Nintendo Point History page. Gold Points are valid until the end of the month, 12 months after they were received, and can be used until their expiration date, even after the awarding period ends.
Re-reserve by the End of the Awarding Period to Get Gold Points!
Even if your reservation was automatically canceled due to insufficient funds or other payment issues, Gold Points will still be awarded if you re-reserved by Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:29 PM. Please note that Gold Points will not be awarded for re-reservations made after Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at 1:30 PM.
