A new esports event for PS5 users, "PlayStation Tournaments: XP," will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025.
This in-person tournament will be held for the first time at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London, and it is a major event that will attract top players and fans from around the world.
What is "PlayStation Tournaments: XP"?
"PlayStation Tournaments: XP" is a team-based event where players who have passed the online qualifiers will compete directly in London.
Participants will be divided into four teams: "Triangle," "Circle," "Cross," and "Square," and will earn XP (points) through gameplay. The top two teams will compete in the finals for the title of the first champion.
Eligible Titles
The following titles will be featured in the tournament:
- "Tekken 8"
- "EA SPORTS FC 25"
- "Fortnite" (Qualifiers start December 6, 2024)
- "Astro Bot" (Qualifiers start December 13, 2024)

By winning the regional online closed finals, you will earn the right to participate in the London tournament.
This is a PS5 dream where flights and accommodation are provided, and you can participate in the live event as a member of a team!
How to Participate in the Event?
To register for the qualifiers, you can participate from the PS5 "PlayStation Tournaments menu." If you win the qualifiers, you will advance to the regional closed finals, where you will compete for a spot in London.
The event will be live-streamed on Twitch and YouTube, allowing viewers to cheer in real-time from anywhere!
