"Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet," which celebrated its 2nd anniversary since its release on Monday, November 18, 2024, has surpassed 8.3 million domestic sales, setting a new record for the highest domestic sales in the Pokémon series.
To commemorate the 2nd anniversary of "Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet," an event featuring "Black Rayquaza" and a campaign to get mythical Pokémon will be held.
"Black Rayquaza" Appears in Scarlet and Violet! Also Pokémon Whose Shiny Form is Black
A special Event Tera Raid Battle featuring a shiny black Rayquaza has been announced for a limited time in the Paldea region of "Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet."
It will appear in 5-star Tera Raid Battle crystals.
Only one shiny black Rayquaza can be caught per save data.
From the released image, it appears to be a Dragon-type Tera Pokémon.
The Event Tera Raid Battle for shiny black Rayquaza will be held from 9:00 AM on Friday, December 20, 2024, to 8:59 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Mass Outbreaks of Shiny Black Pokémon Appear!
An Mass Outbreak Event featuring Pokémon whose shiny form is black will be held in each area: the Paldea region, Kitakami, and Blueberry Academy.
- Paldea Region: Cetoddle
- Kitakami: Carbink
- Blueberry Academy: Fraxure
The event period will be from 9:00 AM on Friday, December 20, 2024, to 8:59 AM on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Campaign Held to Get Mythical Pokémon and Items!
In "Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet," mythical Pokémon that were previously unobtainable will appear.
To obtain them, simply register as a member on the campaign website, purchase eligible products, and collect campaign codes.
Eligible products include Pokémon cards, Moncolle, and Pokémon Frienda Set 3, but please note that the points you receive for each are different.
The items and Pokémon you can receive are determined by the points you collect, so save up your points and get them!

"The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" Icon Parts Appear in "Missions & Rewards"
Icon Parts for "The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero" from "Pokémon: Scarlet and Violet" will be available as Platinum Point gifts for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers.
Icon parts featuring characters from The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero, including Black Rayquaza, will be distributed weekly, so be sure to check them out.
