Cygames, Inc. announced 8 teams for the new league " Shadowverse Premier Series 26-27" of the next generation smartphone card game " Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond (hereafter, ShadowverseWB)" during an official program broadcast on Thursday, March 5, 2026. The eight teams competing in the new league, "Shadowverse Premier Series 26-27," were announced during the program. The prize money for this year's league will be 100 million yen, and the call for players began on March 5, 2026 (Thursday).

The eight teams that will participate in the new "Shadowverse Premier Series" league of ShadowverseWB have been announced. This league will replace the "RAGE Shadowverse Pro League" and is scheduled to start in July 2026.

Selection Criteria

The selection of players for this league will not be based solely on playing skills or tournament performance, but will be based on the following factors.

• 1. the ability to communicate their thoughts and the appeal of "ShadowverseWB" in their own words, and the ability to build a healthy relationship with fans and the community through social networking, distribution, events, etc.
• 2. be aware that they are a part of the future of "ShadowverseWB". We will place importance on the applicant's proactive attitude toward participating in events and promotional activities. 3.
• 3. be able to set a good example as a representative of "ShadowverseWB". The players must be respectful to their opponents, fans, and all other parties involved.

Each team will select their own players based on the above selection policy and the management policies of the participating teams.

Player Selection Process

The following system will be used to select players for the first year. Each team will register a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 players.

• Reverse nomination system: Players must indicate on the application form only one team to which they wish to belong. If a team wishes to acquire the player, the player will be reverse-assigned to the team of his/her choice.
• Draft Conference: The Draft Conference will be held for players who have submitted an application form. The Draft Conference will be broadcast on the official Shadowverse YouTube channel on Friday, April 3, 2026.
• Audition Selection: Players who have submitted an application form and meet one of the following conditions will be selected. Players who were not selected in the Draft Conference, or players who did not reach a contract agreement after acquiring the right to negotiate.

• Contact period for successful applicants: March 24, 2026 (Tue.) - March 31, 2026 (Tue.)
• Draft: Friday, April 3, 2026
• Audition Selection Document Screening: April 4, 2026 (Sat) - April 10, 2026 (Fri)
• 1st and 2nd round selection: April 18, 2026 (Sat) - April 19, 2026 (Sun)
• Third round: May 4, 2026 (Monday, national holiday) - May 6, 2026 (Wednesday, national holiday)
• Final Draft: Saturday, June 20, 2026 - Sunday, June 21, 2026
• League start: July 2026 (tentative)
