SNK: A Treasure Trove of Fighting Game IP
KOF Studio Official InstagramIn the 90s, often called the golden age of arcades, the company released many fighting games, and it holds numerous popular IPs (intellectual property rights) such as "Fatal Fury," "Art of Fighting," "Samurai Shodown," "The Last Blade," and "The King of Fighters," also known as KOF.
KOF Studio's challenge is to inherit tradition and transform it into innovation.
Expectations are already high, with a new "Fatal Fury" game scheduled for release in 2025.
Regarding IP utilization, besides pure fighting game sequels, we're also looking forward to games in other genres, such as the RPG "Shinsetsu Samurai Spirits Bushido Retsuden" and the adventure game "The King of Fighters Kyo."
KOF Studio's activities are definitely worth keeping an eye on.
