A new stage trailer was released on the Official SEGA Asia (EN) YouTube Channel. The trailer features remade stages from previous titles, with side-by-side comparisons to the original stages to clearly illustrate the changes.

PR TIMESRail Canyon, which first appeared in Sonic Heroes, will also be featured in Sonic X Shadow Generations. Key elements of the stage, such as grinding and progressing by switching levers, remain unchanged, although the stage's overall quality has been greatly improved.

Chemical Plant
PR TIMESChemical Plant, which appears in Sonic the Hedgehog 2, will be featured as a 3D remake. The atmosphere of a chemical factory remains intact, featuring pipelines that allow for movement in all directions (a result of the 3D conversion) and the mysterious, stored pink liquid.
PR TIMESHowever, the depth of the stage, a result of the 3D conversion, has increased the dynamism. This allows players to fully experience the eerie atmosphere of the Chemical Plant, which now feels like a truly huge and eerie location.
