Ubisoft Entertainment SA released a world premiere trailer at 1:00 AM on Thursday, May 16, 2024.
They announced the latest title in the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed Shadows.
It is a new action-adventure game set in Japan during the Azuchi-Momoyama period.

The latest title in the series, Assassin's Creed Shadows, which is being developed under the leadership of Ubisoft Québec, the studio behind Assassin's Creed Odyssey, is set to release on Friday, November 15, 2024!
Set in 16th-century Japan during the Azuchi-Momoyama period, new factions and foreigners plotting conspiracies will lead a world at war into further chaos.
The protagonists of this work are Naoe, a shinobi and assassin from Iga, and Yasuke, the powerful historical samurai.
Players will carve out a new era for Japan while meeting important historical figures through a story where their respective paths cross.
In Assassin's Creed Shadows, you can explore a vast open world where the scenery changes depending on the weather and seasons.
The world is depicted with different faces for each location, such as castle towns where people come and go, bustling ports, and solemn shrines.
In this era where the political situation is constantly shifting, information is vital.
Players will use a revamped exploration system to build a network of spies, develop new areas, and track targets.
It is also possible to gather allies with specialized skills and abilities, or train recruited allies at a hideout.
The hideout also features elements to customize buildings, layouts, and decorations.
Assassin's Creed Shadows is scheduled for release on Friday, November 15, 2024.
