The label illustration for the second installment of the HITOMAKU series of gaming sake was created by Kinu Nishimura (@nishi_katsu), a former Capcom illustrator who has created illustrations for the Street Fighter series, as well as the official APEX book illustration and character design for Vtuber Kakuya Tsuki. Mika Pikazo (@MikaPikaZo), who created the official APEX book illustrations and character design for Vtuber Teruyatsu!

GAMING RAINBOW is brewed at Tsuchida Sake Brewery in Gunma Prefecture
We wanted GAMING RAINBOW to be a sake that can be enjoyed while playing games...
We wanted a sake that is sweet, powerful, and long, but also crisp, so that you can enjoy it while playing games.
In a word, we described it as a "big crouching punch.
We decided that if it was a special move, it would be too strong and boring, so it was important that it be a regular move to keep people drinking. It is an uppercut.
The drink was designed to be drunk during game play, so we wanted a sharp taste that would not be too strong and would allow the user to continue drinking without getting tired of it.
In order to bring out the flavor that "GAMING RAINBOW" requires, the brewing was outsourced to Tsuchida Brewery in Gunma Prefecture.
Tsuchida Shuzo, with Tsuchida and Honor Kunimitsu as its representative brands, uses the theme of "Junmai-Namikoshi Brewing" to bring out the full flavor of the rice, and no additives are added to the brew.
The reasons for outsourcing to Tsuchida Shuzo are as follows.
- Tsuchida Brewery's concept of "sake that grows" matches the theme of "GAMING RAINBOW," which means to become stronger little by little through games.
- Before joining Tsuchida Sake Brewery, President Tsuchida worked for a video game company (Capcom).
- The taste we are looking for in a gaming sake (expressed as the taste of a big crouching punch) is close to Tsuchida's sake.
He chose Tsuchida Sake Brewery out of all the sake breweries in Japan, not only because of the taste, but also because of the concept of the brewery and its connection to games, which shows his commitment to "GAMING RAINBOW.
