LEGO Japan announced that it will release the "LEGO Game Boy," a LEGO brick recreation of Nintendo's portable game console "Game Boy," on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.
Pre-orders have been available since Friday, July 25, 2025.
Recreated the "Game Boy" in 1:1 Scale! Relive Those Memories from Back in the Day

The "LEGO Game Boy" is an adult-oriented LEGO set that faithfully recreates Nintendo's portable game console, the "Game Boy," with LEGO bricks in a near 1:1 scale.
Composed of a total of 421 pieces, the details of the Game Boy console itself, such as the D-pad, A and B buttons, and volume control, have been intricately recreated.
From a distance, the finished product looks so complete it's almost indistinguishable from the real thing.

In addition, two types of LEGO-brick cartridges, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and Super Mario Land, are included.
They can be inserted into the cartridge slot on the back of the console.
The monochrome LCD screen can be swapped out for a part that displays the "Nintendo" logo on the startup screen or a part that recreates one of the games.

The "Game Boy" is a portable game console released by Nintendo in 1989.
It was the first of Nintendo's portable game consoles to feature interchangeable cartridges, allowing players to enjoy a variety of games.
Many major hit titles, such as Pokémon Red and Green and Kirby's Dream Land, were released for the console.
The "LEGO Game Boy" will be sold for 9,280 yen (tax included).
For those who grew up with the Game Boy, why not pick up a "LEGO Game Boy" and immerse yourself in those memories from back in the day?
