Xiaomi Japan launched the POCO brand's flagship smartphone, POCO F8 Pro, in Japan on Thursday, January 22, 2026.

POCO F8 Pro Smartphone Equipped With Snapdragon 8 Elite Launches in Japan!
POCO F8 Pro is equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
It achieves both excellent energy efficiency and high performance. Through the WildBoost Optimization feature, it reduces power consumption while suppressing frame drops to ensure a stable gaming experience.
Equipped with a 3D triple-layer IceLoop cooling system, the device can draw out maximum performance despite its compact body.
Display
The HyperRGB display features an RGB sub-pixel structure, achieving a high-definition and vivid display equivalent to 2K resolution.
Power consumption was reduced by 22.3% compared to the previous generation. Comfortable viewing that is gentle on the eyes is made possible by the DC dimming function and a minimum brightness of 1 nit.
The refresh rate supports a maximum of 120Hz.
Speakers Jointly Tuned With Bose
Through joint tuning with audio manufacturer Bose, the device delivers an immersive sound experience ranging from deep bass to clear vocals.
Additionally, the inclusion of symmetrical linear stereo speakers provides excellent acoustic quality during full-range playback.
Camera
The rear camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel wide-angle main lens, a 50-megapixel 2.5x telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.
The main camera features the Light Fusion 800 image sensor, achieving a dynamic range of 13.2EV.
It performs faithful color reproduction even in low-light or high-contrast environments. Through the EIS stabilization and HDR expansion functions, it can capture clear 1,440p dynamic shots.
Battery
The device is equipped with a 6,210mAh large-capacity battery.
It supports 100W fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging.
Additionally, the battery can reportedly maintain over 80% of its maximum capacity even after 1,600 charge cycles.
The price of POCO F8 Pro is 89,980 yen (including tax) for the 12GB / 256GB model and 99,980 yen (including tax) for the 12GB / 512GB model.
