The Japan Esports Union (hereinafter JeSU) has announced that 20 representative candidates for Japan have been determined across six events for the 20th Asian Games, which are scheduled to be held in Nagoya in September 2026.

From Saturday, March 21, to Sunday, March 22, 2026, the Final Selection Tournament to determine the participants for the Asian Games was held at Aichi Sky Expo, the venue for the 20th Asian Games.
The representative candidates for the following six titles across four events have been newly determined, including:
- Fighting Game Team Match: Street Fighter 6 (hereinafter SF6), Tekken 8, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV (hereinafter KOF XV)
- eFootball (hereinafter eFootball)
- Puyo Puyo Champions (hereinafter Puyo Puyo)
- Gran Turismo 7 (hereinafter GT7)
Together with the representative candidates for the Identity V Asian Games Version (hereinafter Identity V) and Pokémon UNITE who have already been announced, the final members for eight titles across six events have been determined to date.
As for the remaining event, the PUBG Mobile Asian Games Version, selection criteria and methods are currently being formulated as of the time of writing; check for further updates!
