Additional details have been released for THE WORLD OF RESIDENT EVIL 30th Anniversary Exhibition, with general ticket sales underway for its run from Friday, October 30 to Thursday, December 24, 2026.
Much like exploring the iconic mansion where new wings unlock as you progress, the full scope of the event is gradually coming into view as opening day approaches.
Venue Map Updated!
PR TIMESCapcom unveiled a previously hidden portion of the venue map.
Within the purple-coded Evidence of Terror zone, both FILE 3-2: Confronting Parasites and FILE 3-3: Mutamycete & Hallucinations have now been revealed.
And on the map, familiar figures have been added...!
Confronting Parasites Area
The updated map reveals an area where visitors can come face-to-face with the parasitic Plagas, first introduced in Resident Evil 4 and known for inflicting horrific devastation on humans and environments alike, along with the creatures infected by them.
At the end of this zone, a life-sized statue of the series' iconic mastermind, Albert Wesker, makes its debut.
Visitors can take in his imposing presence, clad in his trademark sunglasses and the signature trench coat worn in Resident Evil 5.
Standing at an estimated height of around 190 cm, encountering Wesker in life size is bound to feel genuinely intimidating, even in an exhibition setting...!
Mutamycete & Hallucinations Area
Capcom also revealed an area themed around the Mold, first introduced in Resident Evil 7: Biohazard.
Visitors can experience the eerie sensation of suffering hallucinations induced by Mold infection.
Much like the other zones, one can't help but wonder: will visitors make it out of this exhibition alive...?
And waiting at the end of this area is Alcina Dimitrescu, the sensationally popular character who took the gaming world by storm following her appearance in Resident Evil Village.
Crafted specially for this exhibition, seeing her towering, approximately 290 cm figure seated will undoubtedly offer an overwhelming physical presence even surpassing Wesker...!
