While various community game tournaments take place every day, none other than the German Embassy hosts the German Embassy esports cup Japan 2023 Diplomacy meets eSports, taking place on Saturday, January 6, 2024!
In addition to 30,000 yen worth of Riot Points, the winners will also receive the rights to an exhibition match against the professional team Eintracht Frankfurt eSports (@Eintrachtesport)!
The Offline Finals Will Be Held on January 6 at Shibuya eStadium in Tokyo!
The tournament features a bracket format with a maximum of 16 teams.
The four teams that survive the online qualifiers starting on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM will advance to the offline finals held at Shibuya eStadium in Tokyo on Saturday, January 6, 2024, starting at 12:00 PM.
The MC for the German Embassy esports cup Japan 2023 Diplomacy meets eSports will be German-born radio DJ Sascha (@sascha348).
Familiar faces eyes (@eyes1015) and Revol (@krevol) will handle the play-by-play and color commentary.
