Iwate Sports Magazine "Standard", published by Yamaguchi Hokushu Printing, headquartered in Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture, announced that it will hold an e-sports tournament "Iwate e-Sports Cup Sta×Sta".
Prizewinners will be presented with local Iwate items.
The "Iwate e-Sports Cup Sta×Sta" is an online e-sports event from Iwate, held in collaboration with the Iwate Sports Magazine "Standard" and the Iwate e-Sports Association.
The third edition will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Epic Games' popular battle royale game "Fortnite" will be used as the game title.
Applications are now being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis for 96 participants.
The location of residence is not required, so the event is open to people living in Iwate Prefecture as well as those living in other prefectures.
The tournament will be held in an online format, and participants will be able to connect from their homes and other locations to play against each other.
The tournament will be live-streamed on YouTube.
The top prize winners of the tournament will receive "good things from Iwate" as a gift.
The top three winners will receive "Coca-Cola Energy" (1 case/30 bottles) from Michinoku Coca-Cola Bottling Co.

"KIZU-RU natural rock salt" to pray for the victory of the professional soccer team "Iwate Grulla Morioka".

Original boxed tissues (2 sets of 5 packs) with a truck design from Shirogane Transportation Co.

The prizes are all related to Iwate Prefecture.
Some of the prizes are hard to find outside of Iwate Prefecture, so aim for the top prizes.
Entry is open until September 11.
Entries for the "Iwate e-Sports Cup Sta×Sta" will be accepted until Friday, September 11, 2020 at 23:59 on the entry page of the official website.
The "Fortnite" platform is limited to PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch versions, and mobile versions are not allowed to participate.
