The "KPF (Kitakyushu Pop Culture Festival)," Kyushu's largest manga and anime festival, has been held since 2014 under the slogan "Kitakyushu to the Mecca of Pop Culture."
The "KPF 2025," which marked its 10th anniversary this year, took place on Saturday, November 15, and Sunday, November 16, 2025. Here is our on-site report!

"KPF 2025" was held at "Kitakyushu Messe" in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture.
Kitakyushu City flourishes as a hub for pop culture, including commercial facilities such as Aruaru City.
"KPF 2025" featured stages with lavish voice actors, introduction booths for anime works, and displays of "itasha" (decorated cars)!
Prominent local Kitakyushu companies sponsored the event, including the sake manufacturer "Iichiko," the tire company "AUTOWAY," "BOAT RACE Wakamatsu," and "Shiroya!"
Kitakyushu City MICE and Media Arts Division

A comment video and signature of voice actor Kenichi Suzumura, who was appointed Kitakyushu City Tourism Ambassador in June 2025, were on display!

Tourist spots are one of the joys of touring a local area, but recently, manhole covers designed with anime and local famous spots have become popular.
