On July 1, 2020, Riot games, Inc. will be holding the "RAGE VALORANT JAPAN TOURNAMENT Powered by GALLERIA," a new 5-on-5 tactical FPS game from Riot games, Inc. that has attracted worldwide attention.
The " RAGE VALORANT JAPAN TOURNAMENT Powered by GALLERIA ", a domestic open tournament with a total prize pool of 5 million yen, will be held from August 1 (Sat.) to August 2 (Sun.) online at RAGE, one of the largest e-sports events in Japan. The tournament will be held online at RAGE, Japan's largest e-sports event.
Entries for the tournament will be accepted from July 10 (Fri.) to July 20 (Mon.), and will be posted on the tournament's special website to be opened at a later date.
This will be the second time for this tournament to be held in Japan.
The first "VALORANT" authorized tournament in Japan, "RAGE VALORANT JAPAN INVITATIONAL," was held on Saturday, June 20.
The tournament was a great success, and was distributed worldwide via the video distribution platforms "OPENREC.tv" and "Twitch" with more than 40,000 simultaneous viewers.
The "RAGE VALORANT JAPAN TOURNAMENT Powered by GALLERIA (a.k.a. RVJT)" will be the first open tournament in Japan with high prize money, following the officially sanctioned tournament in June.
The event will be held as part of the "VALORANT IGNITION Series," a global e-sports tournament series of "VALORANT," which RIAT Games is currently developing on a global scale, and will be held at one of the largest e-sports events in Japan, "RAGE. The event will be held at RAGE, one of the largest e-sports events in Japan.
Unlike the "RAGE VALORANT JAPAN INVITATIONAL," this tournament is now open to the general public, so be sure to check out the heated competition and the excitement of "VALORANT," which has attracted attention from around the world.
A program to commemorate the opening of the tournament will be broadcast.
In addition, a special program will be broadcast on "OPENREC.tv" in late July to commemorate this tournament.
