To celebrate the 10th anniversary of "Romancing Saga" this year, "Romancing Saga TOKYO " will be held in Tokyo for the first time in 10 years. The event will feature an actual Romasaga manhole and an Arita-yaki porcelain platter hand-painted by Tomomi Kobayashi, one of the most famous illustrators of the "Saga" series. One of the items on display is a 62cm-diameter Aritayaki porcelain platter that was first unveiled at the " Romancing Saga Lounge " held in Roppongi, Tokyo in 2014. The platter features an illustration by Tomomi Kobayashi, one of the most famous illustrators of the "Saga" series, and a beautifully decorated border by Hiroyuki Hashiguchi, a traditional craftsman. The platter was produced by the Arita-yaki pottery company "Shin Kiln" and is a symbolic piece of Romancing Saga.

The event will also feature the same manholes that are actually installed in Saga Prefecture and the "Saga" series in a collaborative manhole design. The first manhole with a collaborative design will be installed in Saga City in 2020, and a total of 30 manholes will be installed in the prefecture by 2023. This year, the same manhole as the "Saga Frontier" Acels manhole installed in Takeo City will be on display. The manholes are manufactured at the Saga Plant of Hinode Sewage Works, a casting manufacturer with a factory in Saga Prefecture.
