Every year from December to January, the days are somewhat lonely. This is because the "League of Legends " is in its off-season! After the Worlds 2023, which will last until late November 2023, the professional leagues in each region take a break, and the "stove league" phase begins, in which players' departures and transfers are the focus of attention. The League of Legends Japan League (LJL), the professional league in Japan, will change from 8 teams to 6 teams, and the decision to join the PCS is expected to be a major change in 2024. Sengoku Gaming, a professional e-sports team that will continue to aim for the world stage in the LJL, has announced its new roster! We will report on the " SG LoL Networking Special in Challenger's Park " held at esports Challenger's Park on Saturday, January 6, 2024!

Sengoku Gaming Social & LJL 2024 New Roster Announcement Event
Sengoku Gaming's LJL 2024 new roster announcement event held on Saturday, January 6, 2024 consisted of two parts. In the first part, guests Jaeger-san, Rena Kiyokawa-san, Sengoku Gaming's Nagisatchi-san, and Paz-san teamed up with visitors to face off in Arena mode.
Fifty-eight fans gathered at the esports challenger's park. Everyone enjoyed the rare experience of playing in an offline environment with LJL casters and distributors.
After the LoL social event, there was a bingo tournament with gorgeous prizes such as gaming mice. Those who were lucky enough to get a souvenir might be able to get off to a good start in the new season!
Finally, the roster was announced!
Sengoku Gaming has been under the spotlight for some time now after finishing 3rd in the LJL 2023 Summer Playoffs. It was announced that 9 players and coaches will have their contracts expire in November 2023. Who will be the new members?
Kinatu (Top)
Last year, Kinatu played for Fukuoka SoftBank HAWKS gaming and reached the finals! This year, he will again make his presence felt in the top lane of the LJL, which is crowded with the fiercest players.
Coaches Yang and Yutorimoyashi commented
- There are few ups and downs in a match.
- Kinatu's own strong style of play plus his growth in SG will make him a perfect player.
- Good understanding of the game and great influence on the team
- Sense of style shines through in group games
Yuhi (Bot)
Yuhi, who has been supporting the bot lane of Burning Core, joined Sengoku Gaming! He is aiming for his first LJL victory.
Coaches Yang and Yutorimoyashi commented
- Yuhi's original style of play is more aggressive.
- He is a player who can take risks and carry the ball in group matches.
- I think we will see a different style of play.
Kakkun (Mid)
Kakkun, who was active in the Academy League, will join Sengoku Gaming. He is a newcomer to the LJL, but he is a regular in the top rankings of the Solo Queue and is well known for his ability.
Coaches Yang and Yutorimoyashi commented
- Kakkun is no ordinary rookie.
- Kakkun himself understands his strengths and weaknesses.
- His decision making in battle is accurate and fast
- He is a good communicator and has the potential to be a star player.
Jett(Mid)
Jett, a former LCK player, has been on the Sengoku Gaming roster since last season! He brings a wealth of experience to the team.
Coach Yang and Coach Yutorimoyashi's comments
- I think he is the best mid laner in LJL.
- His Japanese communication is also perfect.
- More evolved Jett will support our team!
Elim (Jungle)
Elim, who has extensive match experience in LCK's T1 and LLA's Team Aze, has joined LJL! A new wind is expected to be stirred up.
Comments from Coaches YANG and Yutorimoyashi
- Elim's in-game moves and instructions have been good since he was a rookie in T1.
- His style of play, which Elim calls "dribbling" to get into the enemy jungle and draw the attention of the laner, is shocking.
- Watch out for his Messi-esque dribbling!
Gaeng (Support)
Gaeng, who has won the LJL and participated in the Worlds, is back! We are looking forward to seeing his performance in his new home, Sengoku Gaming.
Coaches Yang and Yutorimoyashi commented
- I don't know Gaeng because I know him (Coach yang and I are brothers).
- He makes quick decisions and is decisive
- Expect him to lead the team because he is strong in the real game
The audience was especially thrilled by the addition of Kinatu and Gaeng. With a new composition of well-balanced newcomers and veterans, Sengoku Gaming is aiming for the world!
Exhibition Match
Soon after the roster for the new Sengoku Gaming was announced, an exhibition match was held against the guest all-stars team. The environment for the match was patch 14.1, which has made significant changes to the shape of the Summoner's Lift and the item system.
Sengoku Gaming
- Kinatu: Eight Rocks
- Elim: Graves
- Kakkun: Neeko
- Yuhi: Senna
- Gaeng: Lee Shin
ExPRO ALL STARS
- Paz: Ca Sante
- hachamecha: Gragas
- Jett: Yasuo
- Zerost: Vals
- Enty: Karma
It started with Zerost's first blood, but the active pro team was not to be outdone. Gaeng's fine play with the pick of Lee Singh support gradually widened the gap between the two players.
19 minutes into the match. Kakkun's amazing reversal in a very close match with a gold difference of just 300 gold. As the Guest All-Stars team was running low on energy, Kinatu's back-teleport was the final blow, earning him the ace!
After gaining a large equipment gap in this group battle, the active pro team continued on their way to a smooth match and victory!
An archived video of the event is available on the " Sengoku Gaming " YouTube channel.
We are looking forward to the new Sengoku Gaming!

Sengoku Gaming is starting up again with a major change in members. After the "SG LoL Networking Special in Challenger's Park," there was a talk show and a chance for fans to interact with the team. Kakkun is the mood maker of the team, and Elim, who is studying Japanese, told us that he had just learned the word "urusai. We were able to get a good impression of the team's mood right away, and we look forward to their success this year!
