STREET FIGHTER 6 SPECIAL EXHIBITION in MIDLAND SQUARE CINEMA 2 is a special commemorative project celebrating the release of Street Fighter: The Movie, hitting theaters on Friday, October 16, 2026.
Harnessing the grand scale of a theater screen and sound setup, this event lets attendees experience the electric excitement of Street Fighter 6 up close and personal.

Event Highlights!

PR TIMES

Massive Screen and Groundbreaking Audio!

This event will be hosted at the movie theater Midland Square Cinema 2.
It will unfold in an audio and visual environment entirely distinct from standard gaming venues, powered by a colossal cinema screen and theater-grade sound.

The showcase will take place specifically in Screen 8, which boasts a particularly expansive screen and features the dedicated sound system Kodo.
While technical specifications can be found on the Kodo Sound System Special Site, experiencing the event in a venue boasting "The supreme sound, the sound of a heartbeat" promises an impact that completely transcends playing Street Fighter 6 at home.
Hearing sound effects like Drive Impact blast through this theater audio setup is something we'd love to experience firsthand...!

Special Match Between Versatile Pro Competitors!

The event will host a special exhibition match between Dogura (@maneater_dgr) of Crazy Raccoon and KEI.B (@_BNBBN_) of DetonatioN FocusMe.
While both are prominent figures in the competitive Street Fighter 6 tournament scene today, both are celebrated multi-game fighting game veterans who previously excelled in titles such as DRAGON BALL FighterZ and GUILTY GEAR -STRIVE-. Just witnessing this matchup alone is an electrifying prospect for fans.

Play-by-Play Commentary and MC by Aru!

Handling live commentary and MC duties will be esports shoutcaster Aru (@papatiwawa).
Fans will recognize his voice not only from premier Street Fighter 6 tournament broadcasts, but also as an official in-game commentary voice option.
His iconic calls will undoubtedly echo throughout the theater.

Assassins from VALORANT!? amshy Challenge Segment Announced!

Miyo Nomura (@MIYOMARUKO) and Himeka Arano (@_arnhmk_) from amshy, the all-female esports team born out of SKE48, will take the stage.
Usually known as competitive players in the tactical FPS VALORANT, the pair will make a surprise crossover into the fighting game realm to challenge the pro players.
Their casual player perspective should offer a delightful contrast to hardcore competitive play.
