On Tuesday, August 16 and Wednesday, August 17, 2022, the Tencent Institute of Games ( "Tencent Institute of Games") hosted its annual event, the Tencent Game Developers Conference 2022 ( "TGDC Tencent Game Developers Conference 2022 (TGDC 2022)" was held.
More than 20 global game industry experts and academics attended TGDC 2022, where 17 keynote speakers offered their perspectives on the future of the game industry.
TGDC 2022
The Tencent Institute of Games is hosting the TGDC, which aims to be a platform to promote communication within the industry by collaborating with international higher education institutions and hosting industry conferences.
The annual event has been held annually since 2017 for global game developers, publishers and operators to share their latest experiences and knowledge.
"TGDC 2022" was held online with the aim of stimulating creativity, technical skills, and cohesion in the gaming field with the world's top game developers, experts, and academics.

"Sammi Xia, Vice President of Tencent Games and President of the Tencent Institute of Games, also spoke at TGDC 2022.
He said that through TGDC, more and more people in the gaming industry will come together to help the industry and society deepen mutual understanding and build a better, more digitally oriented society together.
He also expressed that gaming is becoming a hyper-digital reality that is constantly creating new values and possibilities by facilitating the advancement of cutting-edge technologies.
