On Friday, September 11, 2026, the Computer Entertainment Association (CEA) released a comprehensive update on the Tokyo Game Show 2026 (hereinafter referred to as TGS2026).
Details were announced regarding official merchandise, food options, and the members of the fourth installment of TGS BOOSTERZ.

Merchandise and Food Details Revealed! Additional 30th Anniversary Initiatives Announced

Details on the content available at the venue, as well as additional initiatives for the 30th-anniversary celebrations, have been announced.
In addition, a special 30th-anniversary website featuring a timeline tracing TGS’s 30-year history and a collection of past posters has been launched!

Official Tokyo Game Show 2026 merchandise will be available exclusively at the venue again this year!
Over 60 items will be available, including products featuring the main visual illustrated by popular illustrator Zashikiwarashi ( @WarashiZ ) and original designs produced by the artist collective “ANIMAREAL”!

30 BOOST FOOD

Menu

To celebrate TGS’s 30th anniversary in 2026, limited-edition menu items with “30% more” portions and toppings will be served at the outdoor food court!
Mobile ordering will also be introduced for the first time, allowing visitors to place orders and pay in advance via a LINE mini-app by scanning QR codes located throughout the venue.

Anniversary Messages from Game Developers

Autographed cards featuring messages from game creators and development teams will be on display on the second floor of Hall 10 within the venue.

TGS BOOSTERZ Volume 4 Confirmed! Announcing the Performers and Creators Who Will Liven Up "TGS 2026"

For TGS2026, we are continuing the tradition from last year of appointing official ambassadors—commonly known as “TGS BOOSTERZ” —whose mission is to “boost” the appeal of the Tokyo Game Show to the world.
For this fourth installment, a total of five groups—including musician Takao Suzuki ( @SUZUK1TAKAO ), VTubers Rei7 ( @Rei7_2434 ) and OnoTora ( @OnoTora333 ), and content creator Nanami Vina,and Kiki—have been appointed.
This brings the total number of ambassadors, from the first to the fourth wave, to 30!
The five newly announced ambassadors have released statements.

Takao Suzuki

I’ve been coming to the event in 2024 and 2025.
I was particularly struck by the excitement on the general public days.
The creators’ drive to say, “Look at how entertaining I am!” and the audience’s enthusiasm for finding what’s fun.
In a chaotic world where the good and the bad are all mixed together, the only correct answer is “Is it fun?”
I was swept up by this energy, and it stayed with me for quite some time.
I remember asking myself, “Can I really achieve something like this through music?”
That said, one of the things I love about games is that you can just enjoy them without overthinking things!
We’re also planning a project to stream our performance of game music, so I’d be thrilled if you could check it out.

International Exchange Event! “International Party + Indie Night” to be held after Business Day concludes

Following the conclusion of Business Day, the annual “International Party + Indie Night” —a perennial favorite—will take place at the Makuhari Messe Central Entrance starting at 6:00 PM on Friday, September 18, 2026!
This event is open to domestic and international exhibitors, as well as Business Day Black Pass and Gold Pass holders, TGS BOOSTERZ members, influencers, speakers, and members of the press, and aims to foster international exchange in a casual atmosphere.

The second episode of the official information program “TGS NEWS STUDIO” will be streamed on September 11!

Building on the huge success of the first episode, the second episode—the "Pre-Event Special" —is now streaming!
