The " Tokyo Game Show 2026," a gaming festival, was held from Thursday, September 17, to Sunday, September 20, 2026.
At the Lenovo Japan booth, visitors could enjoy a special hands-on demo of the sword-fighting action game " Onimusha: Way of the Sword," featuring thrilling combat sequences.

We’ve arrived at the “Lenovo” booth!
The highlight of this booth was the “Onimusha: Way of the Sword” demo and special experience.
In addition, there were demo stations for games like “Street Fighter 6” and “Final Fantasy VII: Revelations” running on Lenovo products, as well as displays of the latest hardware.
At the booth entrance, I picked up a stamp rally sheet.
I was told that if I collected three or more stamps, I could enter a raffle to win a prize.
First, I headed straight to the “Onimusha: Way of the Sword” special experience booth.
This sword-fighting action game was just released on Friday, September 4, 2026.
I started the trial run on a Lenovo “Legion” series PC!
I enjoyed not only the battle action between the protagonist, Miyamoto Musashi, and his archrival, Sasaki Ganryu, but also the beautiful background graphics, including traditional Japanese houses and autumn foliage.
I just couldn’t seem to beat Sasaki Ganryu…!
As I kept trying again and again, the demo time flew by in the blink of an eye.
Suddenly, a person in a kimono walked into the booth!
It seemed like something ominous was happening, and attendees were guided to gather along the walls of the booth.
Just as I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next, Miyamoto Musashi and Sasaki Ganryu appeared inside the booth!
I was stunned by their appearance—it was as if they had literally jumped right out of the game.
Attendees grabbed their controllers and frantically tapped the buttons displayed on the screen!
The sword fight unfolded in sync with their actions.
True to its name, “Special Experience,” it was my first time experiencing the real world and a video game seamlessly linked together.
Once the performance ended and I stepped outside the venue, there were the performers from earlier!
I snapped a photo of the two of them, who had just delivered such a powerful sword fight.
After trying out the Onimusha special experience, playing demo versions, and checking out the exhibits, I managed to collect three stamps!
Now it’s time to try my luck in the raffle for prizes.
I won 4th prize—an original Lenovo sticker!
The person in line ahead of me actually won the 1st prize backpack.
I’m so jealous…!
There was also an exhibition area for Lenovo products inside the booth.
