-Your company has a global strategy, but could you tell us as much as you can about your strengths and characteristics and how they apply to the game industry?

While it is not always easy to hire excellent Japanese personnel, we are able to match job seekers with companies based on our understanding of industry trends and the market environment, taking advantage of the characteristics of our group company CRAFTS, which has been involved in the game industry for many years. We are also able to attract excellent human resources not only from Japan but also from overseas, and we are currently introducing excellent overseas human resources who can speak other languages to many Japanese companies. We are now able to introduce many Japanese companies to talented people who can speak other languages. We are committed to contributing to the game industry by utilizing the strengths of CRAFTS, a group company that has been involved in the game industry for a long time, and our ability to introduce not only Japanese but also excellent overseas personnel.

-Do you have any thoughts on TGS2023?

I felt that this year's TGS brought back the liveliness of the pre-Corona TGS. I had a great time at the venue and visited the booths of clients that I usually work with. Real events are great!

-What do you think about the current Japanese game industry scene?

Japanese games and content are really popular all over the world. While people around the world are enthusiastic about Japanese games, I have the impression that Japanese game development has yet to take advantage of the excellent human resources from overseas. As the shortage of human resources in Japan becomes more serious, I believe that if we can successfully recruit talented overseas personnel, Japanese game development will become more active.

SMALL WORLD
-What are your expectations for the future of the game industry and what is your company's goal in the game industry?

I believe that Japanese games and content still have great potential. We have many non-Japanese employees, and many of them came to Japan because they like Japanese games and culture. I believe that there are still many talents and works that have not yet been introduced to the world, and we would like to play a part in helping Japanese games and content to become more globally recognized through our human resources.

-What is your message to potential and future business partners of your company?

To embody our company name, SMALL WORLD, we would like to introduce job seekers not only from Japan but also from all over the world. If you are a company looking for IT or creative industry personnel in Japan or overseas, please contact us anytime!
