Riot Games has started the PC closed beta for its new free-to-play 2v2 team-based fighting game, 2XKO, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 JST. The official 2XKO website is currently still accepting sign-ups, and it appears that invitations will be sent out sequentially throughout the period.
9 Champions, Including Blitzcrank, Are Playable

In the closed beta, six champions are available to use from the beginning, including the following:
- Ahri
- Braum
- Darius
- Ekko
- Illaoi
- Yasuo
Additionally, you can unlock the following with Champion Tokens or Credits:
- Jinx
- Blitzcrank
- Vi
As a participation bonus, you will receive the limited player title Challenger upon the official release, so be sure to give it a try!
Ranked Mode Begins on Thursday, September 18, 2025!
Ranked mode is scheduled to be implemented on Thursday, September 18, 2025. Your progress will be reset when the closed beta ends, so you can test your skills without worry.
New Elements and Highlights of 2XKO!
New champion Blitzcrank joins the fray! Even in a fighting game, this grappler who uses throwing moves such as pulling opponents in with his Rocket Grab will make an appearance.
Champion Mastery: Get Rewards for Sticking with the Same Champion
A new Champion Mastery system has been implemented, allowing you to unlock avatar costumes, player titles, stickers, taunts, and more by progressing through champion-specific missions. The system, which rewards players who master a single champion, carries on the spirit of League of Legends.
New Tutorial and Fuse System
New elements have been added to the Fuse system that changes strategy, and they can be unlocked through the tutorial at the start of the game. A new feature has also been implemented that allows you to review things you were curious about in previous battles with the match replay feature, and to save your match history.
