The theme of the "Akita City Quest" is "Go around Akita and solve strange things! A slightly mysterious Akita Kitan! The goal of the game is to let people know the best of Akita City and to create an opportunity to visit Ak ita.

One day, the city of Akita was filled with an unusual feverish atmosphere... For some reason, the "Kanto Festival" and the "Tsuchizaki Port Hikiyama Festival," festivals that are normally held on different days, were held on the same day...! For some reason, festival-loving Akita people are oblivious to this anomaly. If things continue as they are, everyone will fall down because they hold up too many Kanto lanterns...! What is the cause? The main character, Matsuri Kubota, travels back in time to present day and even past Akita to solve the mystery and restore Akita to its former glory!
