Call of Duty:Vanguard ", the latest title in the CoD series, will be held for two days from August 28, 2021 (Sat.) at 02:00 (JST) to August 30, 2021 (Mon.) at 02:00 (JST ) for a limited number of players who own the PS4 or PS5 The alpha test will be held exclusively for players who own the PS4 or PS5 versions of the game.
This alpha test will allow players to play the new "Champion Hill" mode.
What is the new "Champion Hill" mode?
Champion Hill is a duo (2v2) or trio (3v3) round robin death match tournament against other teams. The only way to win is to eliminate your opponent's squad before your entire squad is eliminated.
Upgrade your equipment!
Everyone starts with the same loadout (equipment) and as you collect cash, which you earn by picking up drops scattered around the map while fighting for your enemy's lives, you can purchase new weapons, equipment, perks and killstreaks in purchase rounds that occur between combat rounds.
A large map divided into five sections
This game mode also takes place on one large map divided into five sections. There is a central purchase station area and four arenas for combat rounds (runway, train yard, market, and courtyard). Those eliminated will be able to watch the tournament go by from spectator seats in the buying station area. The key to victory is surviving longer.
