Kyuhousya association announced that it will hold the entrance ceremony and opening ceremony for the Kyushu region's first specialized e-sports high schools, e-Sports High School Hakata & Kumamoto, on Wednesday, April 17, 2024.

New e-Sports High School Campuses Open in Hakata and Kumamoto
PR TIMESe-Sports High School is a specialized e-sports high school operated through an industry-academic collaboration between Kyuhousya association and NTTe-Sports Corporation.
Until now, the four existing campuses included the following:
- Shibuya e-Stadium
- Bukuro e-Stadium
- Yokohama e-Stadium
- Nagoya e-Stadium
Hakata e-Stadium in Hakata-ku, Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, and Kumamoto e-Stadium in Chuo-ku, Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, are being newly added.
The school plans to enroll a total of 100 new students across the Hakata and Kumamoto campuses for fiscal year 2024.
The new campuses are equipped with the latest e-sports gear and facilities, and a curriculum led by an excellent instructional staff will be provided.
In addition to aiming to become a professional e-sports player, students can study a wide range of fields such as game design, e-sports management, and streaming technology.
Recently, it was reported on the official e-Sports High School website that students assisted with tournament operations for the Shadowverse ES Regional Tournament Aichi 2024 Spring held at Nagoya e-Stadium.
The schedules for the upcoming ceremonies are as follows:
- Hakata Entrance Ceremony: Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM
- Hakata Opening Ceremony: Monday, April 22, 2024, from 10:00 AM
- Kumamoto Entrance Ceremony & Opening Ceremony: Wednesday, April 17, 2024, from 10:00 AM
PR TIMESe-Sports High School is currently conducting open house events for prospective students for fiscal year 2025.
These events allow students to receive professional instruction while envisioning their school life at the e-Stadium, a dedicated facility built specifically for e-sports.

Starting with the Shibuya campus, which opened in April 2022, e-Sports High School is expanding throughout Japan.
