The free demo for "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves" is now available! Six characters, including Rock and Terry, are playable.

SNK has announced that it will begin rolling out the free demo version of the fighting game " Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves," titled "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Demo Ver.," starting Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
Players can use six characters, including Rock Howard and Terry Bogard, to experience the Arcade mode, Training mode, and Tutorial.

To coincide with the release of the "Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Demo Ver.," a trailer has been released on the official SNK YouTube channel!

Six characters, including Rock and Terry, make an appearance!

The following six characters are playable:

• Rock Howard
• Terry Bogard
• Hotaru Futaba
• Pricha
• Box Reaper
• Mai Shiranui

There are 6 modes to try!

• Arcade: Two matches in total using Rock, Terry, and Hotaru
• Classic Versus: Play 1P vs. CPU or CPU vs. CPU
• Training: 6 characters and 4 stages available
• Tutorial: Includes BEGINNER, BASIC, and EXPERT challenges
• Trial: Take on challenges for each of the 6 characters
• Color Edit: Customize the colors of all 6 characters

The "Arcade" mode, which consists of 7 matches in the full version, has been restructured into 2 matches for this demo.
You can enjoy battling against two opponents other than your selected character.

Also supports “Smart Style” for beginners

You can choose from two control schemes: “Arcade Style,” where you input commands to perform moves just like in traditional fighting games, and “Smart Style,” which lets you execute special moves with a single button press.
If this is your first time playing a fighting game, we recommend Smart Style.

The demo is available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Please note that the Nintendo Switch 2 version is scheduled for release in late October 2026.
Please note that online play is not supported, and save data or color edit data created in the demo cannot be carried over to the full version.
