AMBITION" Trailer Reveals the World of "FINAL FANTASY XVI"! The "Summoner Wars" begins!

FINAL FANTASY XVI ", the latest numbered title in the "FINAL FANTASY" series, is scheduled for release on PlayStation 5 in the summer of 2023.
The second trailer, " DOMINANCE," was released in June 2022, a short time after the September 2020 announcement, and it showed the "dominants" transforming into giant summoned beasts and clashing with each other in a powerful monster war-like image.
When "DOMINANCE" was released, producer Naoki Yoshida commented that "the development team is in a period of refinement toward mastering the game," so it was expected that new information would be released before too long. On October 20, 2022 (Thursday), a new trailer "AMBITION" was released!

In the new trailer " AMBITION " for "FINAL FANTASY XVI", the worldview of the dying world of "Variszea " where the story takes place, the five nations competing for the Mother Crystal, and the summoner's manifestations are explained. The beginning of the " Summoner Wars " is depicted in the story.
We also get a glimpse of the harsh fate of the "Dominants" who harbor the summons, and it looks like it is going to be a very heavy story.
The teaser site has been updated to coincide with the release of the trailer, revealing information on " Dion Lusaje," the dominant of Bahamut, and " Barnabas Zalm," the dominant of Odin, who also appeared in the trailer, so be sure to check it out!
