3 different boss rushes added! The second free update of "Metroid Dread" is now available!

Metroid Dread " is an exploration-type action game that combines the two stimulating elements of "exploration " and "fear.
In February of this year, a free update was released, including " Rookie Mode," which made the game easier to play while maintaining the same level of exploration, and " Dread Mode," the ultimate level of difficulty where not a single mistake is allowed.

Three new boss rushes and a new practice mode have been added!

Boss Rush

Boss Rush" is a mode in which you fight 12 boss battles in a row and aim for the best time. Damage taken is carried over to the next battle, and even if you are killed in the middle of a series of battles, you can retry, but a penalty will be added to your clear time.

Release Conditions

Clear the main story once, regardless of difficulty level.

Survival Rush

Survival Rush" is a mode that challenges players to see how many bosses they can defeat within a time limit. The initial time limit is 5 minutes, and the time limit is extended by 30 seconds when a boss is defeated, and by another 30 seconds (60 seconds in total) when a boss is defeated without taking any damage.

Release Conditions

Clear Boss Rush or Dread Rush.

Dread Rush

Dread Rush" is the ultimate difficulty boss rush where a single damage is enough to make a mistake. As in the "Boss Rush," players must complete 12 boss battles in a row to achieve the best time. The retry function with penalty is the same as in the Boss Rush.

Release Conditions

Clear the Dread Mode of the main game. (If you have cleared Dread Mode in the main game before the update, you can play the game immediately after the update.)

Practice

Practice" is a practice mode in which you can fight a boss of your choice. The number of bosses you can select will increase as you progress through the boss rush, so you can use it to shorten your best time in each rush mode, such as no-doze or fastest defeat.

A demo version is available now!

With two free updates, "Metroid Dread" has become easier to play and more challenging.
