Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness is a full-fledged role-playing game for the Nintendo GameCube originally released in 2005.
Players can enjoy a unique Pokémon story that stands apart from the Pokémon series entries that were primarily being developed for the Game Boy Advance and other platforms at the time.

The protagonist, a young boy living at a research institute, find himself swept up in an adventurous journey triggered by a specific incident.
