Blizzard Entertainment's popular game Overwatch 2 will launch Season 18 "Stadium: Quick Play" on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. A launch trailer has been released and a surprise Persona collaboration has also been announced.
Season 18 update includes Persona collaboration!
In addition to new heroes, modes, and maps, the stadium will be updated with new map rules, new systems, expanded items, and much more. Two new mythic items, a reprint of the Summer Games, and much more!
A new support hero, "Wuyang", who can damage and heal his own defense, has been added to the game!
The new hero "Wuyang" is a talented student of the water department of the prestigious Wu Xing University in China. He has a water-based recovery ability, and depending on how he plays, he can do anything from mobility to recovery and damage.
Personally, I am sad that Gunbushijyou does not disappear with Sombra's EMP.
Stadium Mode will be updated with quick play and additional heroes and maps!
When Season 18 opens on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, Winston, Brigitte and Pharah will be added to Stadium Mode, along with three new heroes and a racer later in the season. Brigitte is too scared to throw her shield...
A new rule called "Payload Race" will also be added, in which players must escort their team's payload to the finish line while sabotaging the enemy team's payload. This is a shocking rule with two payloads.
LucioBall and Winston's Beach Volleyball are back in the popular "Summer Games" mode!
The "Summer Games," a limited event held every summer, is back. This time, you can play "LucioBall" and "LucioBall Remix" in the third person!
The classic mode "Winston's Beach Volleyball Bundle" is also back. The event will run from Wednesday, September 3 through Monday, September 15, 2025. The event offers skins and exclusive items as rewards for taking part in challenges and logging in.
Two new mythic items with a wide variety of customization elements are available!
Sojourn's mythic skin "Ultra Violet Sentinel" and the mythic weapon skin "Blazing Sunsetter" for Cassidy will be added. The skins can be unlocked through four levels of customization.
Season 18 Battle Pass also offers many great rewards!
This year's Battle Pass rewards include new Legendary skins for Streetwear, Poolside and Floral God. Wuyang and Life Weaver skins are cool!
Persona Collaboration is now open!
The Persona collaboration was also announced in the trailer released. The date of the collaboration has not yet been announced. We are looking forward to seeing whose skin will be implemented!
