Sony Interactive Entertainment launched a paid repair service for PlayStation 5 peripherals in Japan on Friday, November 28, 2025.
Paid repair and replacement services are available for all peripherals.

The paid repair service for PS5 peripherals began on Friday, November 28, 2025.
Paid repair and replacement are now possible for all PS5 peripherals, including the DualSense Edge wireless controller, which was previously not covered.
This service also supports repairs after the warranty period has expired.
The repair fees (including inspection fee, parts cost, and shipping) for each peripheral are as follows:
- DualSense wireless controller repair / replacement: 7,480 JPY (tax included)
- DualSense wireless controller charging station replacement: 2,985 JPY (tax included)
- PULSE 3D wireless headset replacement: 9,735 JPY (tax included)
- Media remote replacement: 2,985 JPY (tax included)
- HD camera replacement: 5,985 JPY (tax included)
- PlayStation Portal remote player: 17,500 JPY (tax included)
- DualSense Edge wireless controller repair / replacement: 17,490 JPY (tax included)
- Stick module (for DualSense Edge wireless controller) replacement: 2,010 JPY (tax included)
- Disc drive repair / replacement: 8,800 JPY (tax included)
- Access controller repair / replacement: 6,490 JPY (tax included)
- PULSE Explore wireless earbuds repair / replacement: 17,490 JPY (tax included)
- PlayStation Link USB adapter replacement: 2,610 JPY (tax included)
- PULSE Elite wireless headset repair / replacement: 11,490 JPY (tax included)
- Cables (HDMI / USB, etc.) replacement: 3,300 JPY (tax included)
