Pocketpair, Inc., the company behind "Palworld," announced the establishment of "Palworld Entertainment, Inc." in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc. (hereinafter, SME) and Aniplex Inc.
The new company is intended to promote the domestic and international licensing business for "Palworld" and further expand its IP (Intellectual Property).
The corporate site's domain, pwe.jp, was acquired on July 5, 2024.
Coordination With the Sony Group Is Also Expected
Palworld Entertainment, Inc.As you know, SME and Aniplex are part of the Sony Group, and coordination with the Sony Group is planned, starting with SME and Aniplex.
Through coordination with the Sony Group, Palworld Entertainment is also expected to undertake business developments related to the future growth of "Palworld."
Pocketpair, Inc. will continue to operate as an independent, privately-owned indie game company, but if coordination with Sony Interactive Entertainment (SIE), which handles the PlayStation 5, becomes involved, we can hope for the release of a PS5 version of "Palworld."
Note: "Palworld" currently supports only PC (Microsoft Store, Steam), Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One.

Immediate Sales Start of "Palworld" Merchandise
Merchandise for "Palworld" that will be sold at the Pocketpair booth at "Bilibili World 2024," which will be held starting Friday, July 12, 2024, will be available for pre-order online through Aniplex, its group company Aniplex of America Inc., and Aniplex (Shanghai) Ltd.
The product lineup scheduled for sale will be announced later on the sales site.
