It has been revealed that RTS acquired the competitive fighting game esports world tournament Evo from NODWIN Gaming.
Since RTS was acquired by Saudi Arabia's Qiddiya Investment Company in September 2025, Evo will move under the umbrella of Qiddiya Investment Company as a result.
Qiddiya Investment Company leads Qiddiya City, an entertainment mega-project and a Saudi Arabian national project.
While the project is working in various fields, it is also showing ambition in establishing the world's first gaming and esports district.
In conjunction with this announcement, Evo released a statement.
It states that even under the ownership of RTS, the traditions, values, and identity of Evo will not change.
This is a change in the management structure of Evo, which is widely considered the world's largest fighting game tournament.
We look forward to seeing what kind of developments the tournament will see in the future.
Details of this announcement can be confirmed at the Evo | The Ultimate Fighting Game Tournament.
