Yasmine's Profile
- Origin: Philippines
- Height: 5’4
- Weight: 130 lbs
- Likes: Family, Eating
- Dislikes: When she becomes indecisive
- Voice Actor (JP): Hana Hishikawa
Street Fighter 6 Official WebsiteA high-schooler who became a fighter to
find her lost brother. She is a shy and
gentle soul, but beams with confidence
in fights, where she uses her Lolo's moves.
SteamYasmine learned how to fight alongside her Kuya (older brother) from her Lolo (grandfather). Initially, she trained simply because she wanted to spend more time with her Kuya, but he mysteriously vanished one day, making her lose any inspiration to fight and ended up doomscrolling on FooTube. Until one day, she stumbled upon a certain French supermodel’s videos, reinspiring her to go out into the world, hoping she’ll cut a path that will lead her right to her Kuya.
Her background as a fighter from the Philippines—a first for the Street Fighter series—feels incredibly fresh. Also, when you hear about, a certain French supermodel, SF6 players will likely have a specific character in mind. Her story will likely be explored deeper in modes like Arcade Mode. Look forward to Yasmine's release.
Yasmine's Fighting Style
PR TIMESYasmine is a highly mobile fighter. Her battle style confuses opponents with quick movements and rushes in with her trusted knives. Furthermore, by combining this with, Bayani Mode, (introduced below), she gains speed that keeps opponents at bay and lets her unleash a flurry of blindingly fast consecutive strikes.
Daloy ng Tubig
PR TIMESThis special move involves her quickly moving forward while executing consecutive attacks with her karambit knives. It effectively acts as a combo starter from normal moves, and transitioning into, Alon, unleashes a sequence of slashes. The properties change depending on the strength of the initial button press, leading to different finishes.
The Overdrive (hereafter OD) version links into a combo from light attacks and can be Super Art canceled. It enhances Alon, turning it into a powerful strike that blows the opponent far away. Additionally, if the OD version hits, it allows her to maintain "Bayani Mode," which is detailed below.
Landing this move will be the key to Yasmine's strategy.
Bayani Mode
PR TIMESWhen Alon hits, she enters Bayani Mode, and her knives begin to glow blue.
PR TIMESAlon performed in this state changes its finishing attack: the light version causes a knockdown, the medium version causes a ground bounce, and the heavy version launches the opponent higher than usual. Since Bayani Mode ends after the move finishes, you must assess the battle situation carefully to make the most of it.
Talim ng Hangin
PR TIMES
She slashes with her karambit knives while spinning forward. It functions well as a surprise attack that also closes the distance; the light version is excellent as a feint, while the medium and heavy versions cover a significant forward distance. The medium version leaves few openings even if blocked. The heavy version has slightly slower startup but leaves Yasmine with a frame advantage on block, allowing her to act first. Landing this move also transitions her into Bayani Mode.
The OD version carries risk if blocked, but on hit, it launches the opponent, opening up an opportunity for a follow-up attack. Because the outcome changes 180 degrees depending on whether it hits or is blocked, use it carefully.
Mukha ng Langit
She leaps into the air while spinning forward. The travel distance changes depending on the strength of the button input, and it can branch into two different follow-up moves.
The first follow-up, Kulog, is a divekick that strikes the opponent like talons. The angle of descent can be adjusted based on the button strength. It leaves few openings on block and links into combos from light attacks on hit.
The second follow-up, Ulan, is an attack where she strikes while spinning upside down. It is effective when aiming for the opponent's backside, and landing it successfully allows for follow-up attacks.
The OD version of either follow-up leaves few openings even if blocked, sometimes letting you act first. Mix them up depending on the situation and maintain an aggressive offense.
Lipad ng Agila
PR TIMESAn anti-air move where she kicks toward the sky and unleashes a flurry of consecutive kicks upon connecting. It is also well-suited for wrapping up combos. The OD version gains invincibility on startup, making it an effective reversal tool for when you are cornered. It is perfect for a classic reversal invincibility option.
Pangil sa Likuran
PR TIMESA projectile that travels in a boomerang-like trajectory, with the distance changing based on the button strength. While its startup is slow, it allows you to force powerful mix-ups and blockstrings.
The boomerang disappears if Yasmine takes damage. Since it lacks a startup guarantee, be careful not to neglect your defense by focusing too much on the offense.
PR TIMESThe OD version hits three times, making it effective for creating further offensive opportunities.
Level 1 Super Art: Hiwa ng Kalangitan
PR TIMESShe kicks the opponent into the air, catches them, and slams them forcefully into the ground. It features invincibility frames on startup, making it effective for reversals and counterattacks. It also triggers Bayani Mode on hit, giving you a perfect chance to press the attack.
Level 2 Super Art: Nakatagong Lakas
PR TIMES
After activation, she can use enhanced special moves for a limited time while remaining in Bayani Mode. While active, she can also use a dedicated move called, Linya ng Liwanag, where she quickly moves forward to attack before slipping behind the opponent. Furthermore, the performance of the OD version of Alon changes in this state, evolving into a powerful move that shreds the opponent with blades of energy.
Level 3 Super Art: Pamumukadkad ng Sampaguita
PR TIMES
A cinematic ultimate move where she gathers energy while spinning the opponent, then obliterates them all at once. It serves as a useful combo ender and a reversal utilizing its invincibility frames. The beautiful blue effects leave a striking impression, looking gorgeous even in still images.
