ASUS has done it again. ASUS Japan Inc. has announced the ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG, a 5K gaming monitor supporting up to 180Hz. The monitor will be available in Japan in late March 2026. Many other new products will be released in the near future.
"ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG" will create a new common sense

ASUS: Beyond Vision - Beyond 4K 5K Gaming Monitor & Latest OLED Experience Event -" was held in Tokyo, and while several of the latest monitor models were on display, the highlight was the 5K gaming monitor" The highlight of the event was the ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG, a 5K gaming monitor.

ROG
"ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG" is a 27" gaming monitor with Fast IP panel.
It supports a dual mode that allows you to freely switch between a high resolution of 5K (5,120 x 2,880) / 180 Hz and a high refresh rate of WQHD (2,560 x 1,440) / 330 Hz.

Dual mode can be switched from the display's menu screen (OSD) or set with a single click of the customize button. This feature is becoming standard on today's high-end monitors, and gamers who play a variety of genres will appreciate it.

OSD
The ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG uses a 27-inch display, but the screen size can be changed from the monitor. The Japanese translation is a little suspect, but if you select the 24.5" simulation...

The display area is now one size smaller! You can play action games on a large screen with high resolution, and concentrate on shooting games on a 24.5" monitor with high refresh rate.......

The stand that comes with the ROG Strix 5K XG27JCG has a low-profile base and is hardly an obstacle on the desk. I touched it thoroughly, and it seems to have no problem with strength.
The main unit weighs 4.8 kg (6.9 kg including the stand), which is comparable to high-end models from other companies. I was slightly prepared for the 5K weight, but I was betrayed in a good way.

.
Left to right is 40 degrees to minus 40 degrees, up and down is 20 degrees to minus 5 degrees, and rotation is 90 degrees to minus 90 degrees.

Ports are USB-C, DisplayPort 1.4, and HDMI 2.1 (x2). A cover is also included for smart cabling of the back of the monitor, which tends to get cluttered.

ProArt Display PA248QV Gen2" for professional creators

Lastly, we introduce the "ProArt Display PA248QV Gen2" (ProArt Display PA248QFV), which is not a gaming monitor but a product for creators.
It is a 24.1" WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) monitor, which is vertically longer than a typical FHD (1,920 x 1,080) monitor, increasing work efficiency. When editing videos, the timeline can be viewed while previewing in native resolution.

One thing that caught my attention during the explanation was the "P3" preset. This preset is tuned for macOS, and it seems to indicate that it is designed with creators in mind.
