The new and improved "ROG Ally X" will be available in Japan from summer 2024.
ASUS' portable game console "ROG Ally" has been on the market for exactly one year since its release in June 2023! The first anniversary campaign is being held from June 1, 2024 (Sat.) at 00:00 a.m., and now comes the shocking news. The new "ROG Ally X" with enhanced specs is now available!

The ROG Ally X is a completely new portable gaming console that has been redesigned based on user feedback. The core of the gaming system is based on the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor, which is also used in the "ROG Ally", but the motherboard has been rethought and the exhaust system has been redesigned. However, the motherboard has been redesigned to improve heat removal and processing efficiency, and it also contains an 80Wh battery, twice as much as the "ROG Ally".
The main memory is 24GB (LPDDR5X 7500Mhz), which is useful for open world games, and the storage is equipped with a 1TB SSD! In addition, two USB Type-C ports are available, further evolving the device while maintaining its size.
The body is a new black color. The ROG Ally X is a new product that reflects user feedback, with a rounded shape that is easy to hold and smaller macro buttons on the back.
This is the only information available at the time of writing. Other details and pricing will be announced after summer 2024.
Portable game consoles are cheaper than gaming PCs and have a reputation for allowing users to play PC games while commuting to and from work. With all companies focusing on development and sales, how much market share will the "ROG Ally X," which was able to announce information on its successor early on, gain?
