McDonald's Company (Japan), Ltd. announced that it will launch a collaboration campaign with Dragon Quest.
As the first phase, the collaboration goods McDonald's x Dragon Quest Slime in Slime, featuring popular McDonald's characters in the forms of Slimes, have appeared.
Applications for the advance lottery started on Thursday, December 18, 2025.

McDonald's x Dragon Quest Collaboration Campaign Vol. 1 Starts!

The first-ever collaboration campaign between McDonald's and Dragon Quest has been announced!
In Vol. 1, the collaboration goods "McDonald's x Dragon Quest Slime in Slime," a set of five types of Slimes, will appear.

Popular McDonald's characters Grimace, Birdie, and Hamburglar have transformed into Slime forms. Along with the familiar Slime and Metal Slime from Dragon Quest, this set of figures with 5 designs in total consists of items that can only be obtained through this campaign.

The five types of figures all differ in size, and when you open the largest normal Slime, another Slime with a different design that is one size smaller is inside.
In addition to being displayed, they can also be used as figures or as containers for small items.

The selling price is 2,990 yen (including tax).
Advance lottery sales for this product will be held on the official McDonald's app for smartphones from 2:00 PM on Thursday, December 18, 2025, to 11:59 PM on Wednesday, January 7, 2026.
For those who win, the set will be sold at McDonald's stores from the start of business at each store on Monday, January 19, 2026, until the end of business at each store on Sunday, January 25, 2026.
Applications are limited to one set per person, and the condition is that you must hold 50 points in My McDonald's Rewards at the time of application.

Lottery result announcement period: From Thursday, January 15, 2026, 11:00 AM
